Here at the Golf Course Register, we subscribe to various online databases that enable us to keep tabs on the most current developments in golf construction. In fact, a significant number of the leads we publish in the Register come to us as newspaper stories.

Now, for the first time, we can make our research available to you. We’ll send you the same newspaper stories we read – stories about new projects, additions to existing courses, and golf course renovations. In addition, we’ll send you a wealth of other relevant news, including notices about golf course sales and trends in the golf business.

Which newspapers will I get?

Our electronic databases enable us to read more than 100 newspapers and news services from coast to coast. Naturally, we receive stories from all the big-market papers – the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, and others. But we also get stories from dozens of small and mid-size newspapers from virtually every state in the union.

How often do the clips arrive?

We’ll send them to you via e-mail once a week.

How many stories will I get every week?

Typically, we’ll send you 25 or more stories a week.

What’s the cost?

The service is $250 a year. That breaks down to $5 a week for 50 weeks. And if you already subscribe to either the Golf Course Register or the Golf Course Report, we’ll cut the cost by half, to $125 a year.

Which newspapers will I get?

Our electronic databases enable us to receive reports from dozens of international newspapers and news services. There are numerous Canadian newspapers in the databases we read, and we can also provide stories from newspapers and news services in Great Britain, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, China, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian nations, Mexico, the Middle East, India, Malaysia, and Africa.

How often will the clips arrive?

We’ll send them to you via e-mail once a week.

How many stories will I get every week?

Typically, we’ll send you 25 or more stories a week.

What’s the cost?

The service is $275 a year. That breaks down to about $5 a week for 50 weeks. And if you already subscribe to either the Golf Course Register or the Golf Course Report, we’ll cut the cost to $175 a year.
